{dirt 60631} April, A Month of a Thousand Blooms

{dirt 60631} is a pictorial journal of Yvonne's garden journey in a Zone 5, Chicago city lot.

I come out of winter hibernation anxious for a dose of early mud.  In late February, I start poking around the garden (aka, looking under fallen leaves that have yet to be cleaned up) looking for anything green and any signs of life.  In March, the clouds and rains seem to last FOREVER!  Then finally, April, the month of a thousand blooms, satisfies my appetite with overly jubilant splashes of fresh green and flowering spring bulbs (on a mission to get their business done before the flush of leaves shade them out).  Enjoy the feast!
