{dirt 60631} Late July Blooms

{dirt 60631} is a pictorial journal of Yvonne's garden journey in a Zone 5, Chicago city lot.

My summer borders are at their peak and filled with flowers loved by people as well as bees, butterflies and sadly Japanese bettles (more on that later).  Below are some of my favorites blooming this week in my Zone 5 Chicago garden.

left. Hemerocallis fulva (an oldie but goodie) | right. Hosta Golden Tiara

Echinacea Purpurea | aka. Purple Coneflower (a butterfly magnet)

left. Hemerocallis 'Cedar Waxwing' (the biggest daylily flowers ever!) | right. Allium cernuum
